Does it hurt?

There is minimal discomfort in these procedures and with Hair Restoration Treatments, we use numbing cream to help minimise pain.

How long does it take?

This depends on the client's individual needs and treatment plan. On average, hair restoration treatments take between 60 and 90 minutes.

How long is recovery?

Each client will be different. On the whole, recovery for all treatments is usually on the same day. You should expect some raised bumps around the injection sites only for a few days if that. A link to our after care advice is provided on the treatment information pages.

How long does the treatment last?

Each treatment will have a different protocol depending on your specific goals. Treatment protocols for hair restoration treatment is typically 3 sessions with 3-4 week intervals between sessions, and a one-off maintenance session every six months. This protocol is designed to maximise the powerful, long-lasting potential for hair restoration results.

Is it dangerous?

There is a risk with all injections such as bruising, infection, allergic reactions, and vascular occlusion. Fortunately, these are very rare. All treatments should be carried out by an experienced health care professional – Trudy Mills has attended rigorous training on these treatments and comes from a health-care background – being a trained nurse prescriber and member of both the Nursing & Midwifery Council and the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses.

Are they effective?

Yes, remember these are non-surgical clinically tested treatments that will enhance your natural features. All products being used will be FDA-approved and of high quality.

What age do you recommend these treatments from? Are there benefits of starting this treatment from a young age?

It is a legal requirement that clients wishing to receive any aesthetic treatments must be over the age of 18. Other than that, it is completely down to customer preference. I provide hair restorative treatments to a wide range of clients from early 20s up to late 60s.

Are these treatments only for women?

Everyone over the age of 18 is welcome. Men can generally be more susceptible to hair loss but hair loss treatments are for men and women.

Should I book a consultation first?

Consultation is critical to develop the best treatment plan for your individual circumstance and goals. We will also work together to manage expectations before we start any treatment. Consultations can be online or in person.
